can i still get the mirena iud?

I am supposed to get the Mirena IUD tomorrow...but my period ended today. I just started on Friday so it hasn't been 7 days yet...but I don't know if you have to actually be on your period to get it?

You should be fine. I started my period during the pee test about 10 minutes before having mine placed. They prefer it, but its not crucial.

i had one and i was not on my period when i got it, infact i had just come off myself.

I wasn't on mine when I got mine. I was actually close to ovulating. You should be fine.
