Hot Cocoa from Scratch??

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to make hot cocoa from scratch using real cocoa. Any ideas, recepies, advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much!

  • There used to be a recipe on the back of the cocoa container that I always followed. It's better to do it on the stove instead of the single microwave serving. This is the recipe I use: http://www.hersheys.com/recipes/recipes/detail.asp?id=5265&page=1&per=25 from the Hersey site.

  • I make my own. I take and put roughly 3 cups of milk in a pot, and 1/4 cup or a little more of sugar, heat that just before it boils and slowly add 3 tablespoons of coca powder with a whisk, it can get lumpy but you have to whisk fast. If you like it rich less sugar more cocoa, and if you like sweeter more sugar etc.
