  • Yes just like being a gay man is the same way, did you know you liked boys without ever being with a girl? Same concept.

  • So you're saying you can't be straight without seeing if you like homosexuality first? You're just attracted to who you're attracted to.

  • i experienced homosexuality just out of curiousity. I would think everyone would be curious of the other sex.

  • Well, yeah. If she is only interested in women, she is a lesbian. She doesn't have to have been with a man to figure that out. Just the same as a straight woman doesn't need to have been with a woman to know she only wants to be with a man.

  • Usually ,a woman knows her preferred sexual orietnation by the time she is 23. If she says she is lesbian I am sure she knows her own mind and has no interest in sex with men. She may have male friends, but is not sexually attracted to them.

  • Couldn't this go the other way? If you assume that a person can not love the same sex without knowing the opposite sex, then could we not ask, "How can one know that they love the opposite sex over the same sex if they have not tried the same sex"? You can not assume that someone is wrong because they are different than you and have not tried the same things you have.

  • what a silly question. leave your friend alone. if she says she's gay, then she's gay. Its not up to you.
