Still lactating after years?

I stopped breastfeeding my son about 2 years ago and I am still lactating. Is this normal?? Also we are trying to get pregnant and I know it isn't true that you can't get pregnant while nursing, but could it maybe prevent something now?????

  • I never stopped lactating after my DD (almost 9 years ago) nor after the boys... was curious a couple of weeks ago, and I actually got almost 3 oz.

no, I do not believe it will interfere at all. I was still lactating when I became pregnant the last 2 times.

  • What do you mean by lactating? When you squeeze really hard droplets come out or you could pump a whole bottle out?
