Is food stamps now the SNAP program?

I'm not on them so I have no clue but I did see signs at Walgreens talking about the Supplemental Nutrtition Assistance Program. Are they the same and why did they swtich?

  • It's because they now have it set up on a card that works like a debit card, but only for food. And it depends on what card they use in what state, that's why the names are all different.
