How soon after a vaginal delivery can you begin to excersize regularly again?

  • Your doctor should clear you first, usually at your 6 week check up.

  • They recommend 6 weeks. You can do walking and light exercise but nothing strenuous. Especially the tummy muscles.

  • There are some things you can do almost right away if you have a normal vaginal delivery. They will give you info at the hospital or birth center.

  • 6 weeks is the recommended time after giving a vaginal birth but sometimes you can do it before if your doctor gives you the ok Good luck sweetie hope everything works out great for ya and congrats on the baby!!

  • i a had csec and was at the gym at 4weeks, just dont push yourself
