  • I don't know FOR SURE, but I remember reading something about soy and soy products actually making it more difficult to conceive.

  • Actually there is a book out there called Fertility Diet and it suggest eating more plant protien and less animal protien.

    Soy is actually really good for helping you to ovulate because it contains estrogen which is the hormone you need to ovulate. You should be INFORMED that eating lots of soy could increase your chances for multiples. YOu shouldn't eat it AFTER ovulation though because lots of soy isn't safe during pregnancy.

    Get that book it has lots of info.

  • I am not sure but have read that if you eat sweet potatoes/yams that when you conceive your chances of having a girl is higher

  • i have heard that something in sweet potatoes mimics the follicle stimulating hormone, so you might release more eggs. i have a lot of kids, and i eat a sweet potato a week!
