Did anyone else notice Pampers Cruisers changed? I don't like it.. New diaper suggestions please.

For some reason now my LO has had a rash twice now and I've had to change his diapers a ton more often to prevent it. I mean, I don't think I should be going through 11-12 diapers in one day on an 11 month old that's not ill with diarrhea or something.

I had been going through 6-7 per day with good wetness/pooh. However, now I'm changing them barely wet or his rash starts returning. I have always made sure his butt gets atleast 10-15 of air a couple times a day too, so it's not that.

I tried a few other diapers when I ran out of gifted diapers when he was tiny but they all squeezed his legs or he pee'd out of them until I got Pampers and they had been the best til they changed them.

Before I tried Huggies, Luvs, and Seventh Gens.

Should I go back through and try those again even though they weren't good before or does anyone have any other diaper suggestions?

  • Parents Choice is the only diapers that don't leak for me. Luvs, Huggies etc all leaked.

  • I just bought some and I didn't notice a change. Maybe try cloth diapers if he gets rashes that easily??

  • Man! Is THAT why my DD has been getting this continuous rash lately? I didn't even realize that they changed the Pampers diapers. She rarely wears a diaper now since we've been potty training, so I couldn't understand why she has a rash. I haven't changed anything, and it doesn't look like a yeast. Hey OP, thanks for posting this. I'm going to change diaper brands to see if it really is the new Pampers causing this issue. THANKS!

  • I was using LUVS on my son. They worked fine, but I had to one up a size before he had full grown out of the current size, because he'd start peeing through. Someone gave us some Parent's Choice and they're wonderful.

I started using LUVS on my daughter when she was born, but she was peeing through them instantly. From day one.

Since I've switched both kids to Parent's choice I've had no issue at all. Both kids can wear one size until they grow out of them without any leaks. They don't cause any rashes, and they're not too tight around the baby. They're actually made bigger then most diapers I've tried (LUVS and Pampers) , so they last a lot longer in each size.

  • Oh great. I am currently using the old Pampers Cruisers...but I did hear that they changed them on the Pampers website. There were a lot of bad reviews about the new kind. Maybe I'll go to Babies R Us and stock up on the old ones before they can't be found anywhere.

  • You can get cloth for really, or close, on freecycle, craigslist, ebay, thriftshops, etc.
