Has anyone worked for a temporary agency? How much commission do they

take off the beginning of the interviewing and placement process?

  • I made $9.25 an hour when I did it. They paid me what they would pay anyone to do the spot. I was there for a year. They paid the agency a whole other amount.

  • I have worked for them...but, their money is seperate from your money. Whoever hires you through them has to pay them a seperate amount.

  • say a company pays the agency 20 and hour to fil the spot. the employee might be lucky to see $8 an hour of that for pay

  • I've worked for two of them in two different states. They don't charge interview and placement fees of the employee....it is part of the contract with the employer. The money that the employer states that you get paid is exactly what you get paid - no fees are charged or deducted.
