  • Actually I found breast feeding way easier. No sterilizing bottles, no mixing formula in the middle of the night. In fact nursing at night is wonderful, after the time I didn't even have to fully wake up.

  • breastfeeding, it's always ready, you don't have to get up at night to fix a bottle if you co-sleep you just rollover lol, the temperature is always right, no need to try to find the right formula, etc.

  • lol i have done both and breast isby far easier! you don't have to get up and fix a bottle at 2 am or worry about running out of formula or packing bottles for a trip. and bf is not painful as anon says lol. if it hurts then baby is not latched on right so you try again

  • both have pros and cons. I wouldn't say one is easier than the other.

  • it depends, formula is easier in a sense that the food gets the baby faster and you can get back to bed sooner, breast feeding is easier in the sense that you don't have to make and sanitize bottles. Breastfeeding pros: weight loss for you, no bottle making/leaking, sanitizing, dont need to pack a bottle in a diaper bag, less change of diaper rash. Breastfeeding cons: public areas are harder to be discrete, painful at first, slower milk let-down than some bottles, babies don't sleep through the night as well, occasional opposite breast leakage when you feed baby, hard to get onto the bottle if you dry up

  • For me it was a toss up. With BF you don't have a bunch of stuff to prepare or wash, but it can be painful and tie you completely to your baby.

  • Yes, heaven forbid something should "tie you to your baby"!
