WOW!! Helping Al-Qaeda? Seriously??

In an oped in USA Today, John Brennan -- Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism -- responds to critics of the Obama administration's counterterrorism policies by saying "Politically motivated criticism and unfounded fear-mongering only serve the goals of al-Qaeda."
Brennan writes that politics "should never get in the way of national security. But too many in Washington are now misrepresenting the facts to score political points, instead of coming together to keep us safe."

So, we have yet another who cries foul if someone does not wholeheartedly agree with PBO. Are the people in this country not free to say whatever they feel about the policies of this or ANY administration, or did I miss the memo?

  • Pot calling the kettle black - MUCH !!!

ANNOUNCING that the Christmas Day bomber was telling everything he knew WAS DIRECTLY helping terrorists:
"Any plans you were making should be changed because he may have told the US, any fellow terrorists whom he knew should get out of town because the US may know who and where they are"

By telling the world that this guy is talking, the White House made every bit of information we were getting from him USELESS !
They couldn't have helped the terrorists more if they had PHONED them to warn them off !!

  • You must always silence the opposition. How do you silence the opposition? Call them racist, call them terrorists, call them all the things people fear to be labeled and no one will speak out. I honestly think if it were not for Black Conservatives almost all White Conservatives would have stopped trying to voice their opinions for the fact they are all called racists. I know this articles statement is not true because we have good Muslim men and women complaining about the admins handling of terrorism and I am sure they would be PO'd if they were told they were serving the goals of Al Qaeda( the reason some have fled to America).

  • They are progressives. They don't like the constitution. They don't like the fact we can speak our minds without fear of regress. They want power so they can reach their ever elusive future goals. Have you ever noticed they never seem to achieve anything? They just piss and moan into the wind and blame someone else. I don't like progressives.

  • This is the second time that this has "popped" up in the news. First, the WH made a similiar statement saying the same thing. The arrogance of this administration is unreal. Obama and the Chicago mob have proven that their foreign policy is no better than a C-. Are we more at risk than Bush? Yes. Is there more threats? Yes. Does the administration really want us to keep our mouths shut about the subject? Yes. Sorry this is not with it Mr. O.

  • Its not surprising. Meanwhile in November there will be a bloodbath with both houses being overtaken by newly elected republicans and the democrats will wonder why?
