I can't be the only one...Do you drink pickle brine?

I LOVE the brine from dill pickles and pickled peperoncini peppers! It's all vinegary and garlic-y and delicious!

  • My dd does... she refuses to let me pour out pickle or olive brine, its like she has some radar- and when I'm about to pour it out she strolls in and grabs a shot glass... lol I won't let her drink copious amounts, but she for some reason loves it!

  • No because it has way too much sodium.

  • While I was pregnant I took a black licorice and bit the ends off so I could use it as a straw. Then I drank from the jar of pickle juice.

  • No. But DH Loves pickles as much as anyone! But we save it for a good shredded roast beef recipe and use it for flavor!! Its got to have something for you! The vinegar is good! DH also uses it to pickle sausages!! If you love it. That's good for you!!

  • It's high in sodium and can thin our blood; at least that's what I've been told when I was younger and loved drinking it. I now settle for tomato and pickle sandwiches and save the pickle juice for a few recipes I have.
