How do you entertain your kids when the power goes out?

With the blizzard in Maryland, we loss power for several hours. Thank goodness they had already eaten dinner. Not prepared and not sure how long the flashlight batteries would last, I pulled out a view master we had. The large one that projects pictures on the wall. Blocks by candlelight and a radio for new and music.
