Need help!!

I am making pepper steak with rice & the recipe calls for corn starch (to make the sauce thick) and i can't find any in the house, thought i had bought some! So, what can i replace it with to make it thick? The sauce has soy sauce & chicken broth.

  • i would say flour should work it make country gravy thicker maybe mix it with a little water first so its not lumpy

  • Flour mixed in water and stir well. Add slowly.
