If you're not wealthy do you feel like you've failed in some way?

I'm not saying you have, at all. I'm just wondering, because I know some people feel as if they aren't successful if they aren't wealthy.

  • “Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.”

    ~Oscar Wilde

I feel that I am on the path I am on for a reason. I do not think I would be happier if I had sold my soul to get wealthy. My choices have made me the person I am. Does that mean I don't wish that I had worked harder when I was younger, so that it wouldn't be a struggle now? Not at all, but I believe in moving forward and not looking back wishing things were different. My family is my wealth. They are my most prized possession.

  • Because i am not wealthy, does not necessarily mean that i feel that i have failed, but i could definitely use some wealth in my life! I would love to spoil my children=)

  • I'm pretty sure it takes time to become wealthy and I haven't had a lot of time.
But sometimes I do feel guilty because there are people that I would like to help financially and we can't yet.

  • Money isn't everything. As long as the bills are paid and the fridge & cupboards are full anything material is unimportant. All I care about is that my family & I are healthy, happy and together.
