  • I agree with the PP, only if I'm flaunting how cheap it was. I was taught from a very young age never to flaunt money, to brag, or to even discuss how much most things cost. It's tacky. Not only that, but it can make others feel bad if they don't have the money you do. That is usually the first sign to me that someone doesn't have the money they're trying to portray...if they're bragging about it. People who have a lot of money usually don't discuss the price of things.

  • No, not at all. Unless of course I got a really great deal on something, then I will tell someone how much it costs, but otherwise, it's no ones business!

  • Only if I got a great deal on something. I bought a $500 stroller for $150. I don't flaunt something I paid full price for because I think I get ripped off for paying full price. We work to be thrifty.

  • Nope. Unless, like the pp said, I get a great deal on it!

  • I never mention the cost of something unless I think I got a great deal.

  • Not usually if someone asks I will tell them but I don't typically tell people what things cost. If I get a great deal maybe but usually no.

  • I am also one that when I get a good deal, I tell everyone in case they want/need it as well. Sadly, my life is pretty mundane right now so its usually a great deal on something at the grocery store!

  • I think some things are obvious how expensive they are... a new car, a big fat diamond, etc. So those things speak for themselves. But it's not like I say what they cost.
