  • Gibbs just made himself look like a BIGGER IDIOT... Obama has DONE NOTHING with Iraq other than HONOR the agreement the BUSH ADMINISTRATION made with Iraqi officials before Bush left office... OBama was opposed to the surge he is NOW taking credit for?  LOL.. And Biden?  Ohhh he is a lame verbal-gaffe having machine... I am not surprised these ineffective liberal political hacks want to now take credit for following Bush's lead.

  • It is tragic that after a full year in office, this is the BEST thing this admin has done, and they didn't even do it! They are just continuing what Bush worked out with Iraq. I have a feeling that this is ALL they will get done during O's term as Pres., so they can claim this as their own. They need something to feel good about.

  • Sure is. Bush said it would be done in Mere months and pay for itself. Both turned out to be extreme falsehoods.

Did he end it in 7 years? no.

  • In the long run, will it be a win for anyone? Let's see where Iraq is in ten years.

No, I don't think Obama can claim this one. Nor can President Bush. Victories belong to those thousands of US troops, living and dead, who had boots on the ground there. Never to politicians...the politicians failed the moment they had to send the troops because politics and statesmanship are supposed to keep us OUT of war.

  • No this IS not Obamas win.

The sons and daughters who have been giving the sacrifice are the winners.
