Would you consider getting a fruit bouquet for Valentine's Day unromantic?

I was watching The Doctors on TV yesterday and they were talking about healthier things to do for Valentine's Day and one of the guys (the old one, don't remember his name!) said a fruit bouquet, one of those really fancy ones that have fruit in flower shapes etc. The lady doctor (Lisa something???) said that it was totally unromantic. I thought it was a great idea and would actually love to get one, espeically if it came with some chocolate covered fruit. What do you think?

  • I think it shows respect and love for the person since it says "I want you to be healthy and with me a long time". I'd like to get one. When I get candy it pisses me off since I'm not eating sugar anymore and trying to lose weight. Receiving candy is like saying my goals are not important. Give me the fruit basket for romance anytime!

  • My guy knows I can't get enough fruit so I'd consider it thoughtful...

  • I don't know if it is romantic, but I'd be happy with it. It would definitely beat flowers, and I really don't need candy.

  • I think its better than getting flowers that just sit there and die.
