Remedies for a fever blister?

I have a fever blister, thats hurts really badly and it has that side of my lip swollen. WHat can I do to help it?

  • Is it swollen full of that fluid or is it swollen like infected if infected you need to go see a doctor.

    Or start using Abreva that works wonders if your blister has been on for awhile it will still work just as fast but if you catch it an a very early stage the blister will never appear but since you have one that is already developed just let it ride and apply this abreva often and washing the area often helps it too. (dries out quicker) GL

  • What is really strange is that I have used a little antibacterial hand sanitizer. It dries it out and will go away in a few days.
