My daughter's lip swelled a bit today after she tried to eat some grass. Should I be concerned?

  • agree with the first poster.

I am allergic to certain types of grass, to be honest it is most types of grass, i itch like crazy my legs turn red and swell a little. Makes me so mad i love walking through grass in my bare feet. Luckily our front lawn i am not allergic to.

  • it's possible im allergic to grass but is it possible that she bit her lip?

  • It is possible it was the grass. It is also possible it was something else ON the grass. Particularly weed killers, fertilizers, dormant oils. Are you sure she was not bitten by an ant or a spider?
