preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that results in extremely high blood pressure and protein in your pee. in is normaly with your first pregnancy, younger and older mother, over weight are risk factor. it occurs between late second trimester to late third to right after delivery. the only cure is delivery. it is extremely dangerous for mother and baby. there are degrees to the disease. depending on the severity sets the course of action. if it is very mild and before 34 weeks you may be put on bed rest and given steriods to mature the babys lungs. after 34 weeks they will deliver you. if you have any other questions email me. my son was born 34 wks 2 days due to sever preeclampsia.
