What is so hard to understand?

Regardless of your intentions or what book tells you it's ok, what don't you get about it being rude to tell other people how to live and judge them against standards that are important to you but ARE NOT important to them?

  • PRIDE and SIN is fogging their view of the Bible.......it's a shame. Jesus's #1 command is to love others.......and we can share the truth in a loving way. It does get sticky though because the message of the Bible is not all sweet, there are some difficult beliefs that this world rejects and in those beliefs sometimes others are offended. But it is my responsibilty to spread the word and the good news. Please try to understand that when a Christian (the loving ones) share, they are sharing out of love for you and your eternal soul. So when you hear people talking about hell and such, know that it is becasue that is our belief of what happens to those who reject Christ and it is out of our love for you that we do not want to see you suffer. I am telling you this kindly and not cruely but you may see it to be cruel........this is what makes things sticky.

  • and you don't judge Christians if you don't want to be judeged

That works both ways - if they'd stop, everyone would stop. If they'd stop trying to recruit while also being hypocrites, it would stop. You don't see this issue with other religions, ONLY with Christians. Why do you think that is?

  • i guess it's the way an original question in Answers is worded giving emotions that moms get caught up in. You might be writing the post where ever you are with what ever's going on in your own life, but you're not in the exact moment in life then of someone reading your post question.

Maybe with another post try to ask it in a way that's a plain question and doesn't give your own viewpoint - just ask for other's views.

Also in Groups there are more quiet groups and more loud groups on nearly every single topic imaginable. Maybe join one and post there for your comfort? Youll still get opposing views probably but with less emotion that in Answers.

    Your what hurts?

This isn't a CM issue or an answers section issue - it's a doctrine issue. The rude behavior goes far beyond some stupid website.

  • is this still about the gay issue? cant we just move on. if youre gay, you have options, either serve God and not act on your homosexual desires or serve Him, be gay and then answer to Him on judgement day or be gay and dont worry about God.

Thank you for beautifully illustrating the entire point of this question.

  • oh stop already witih your self martyr syndrome. Dont you dare pretend the only people with rude remarks and judging ways are Christians. Just the other day a little heathen said she looks for judging and has no problem with judging.
