contractions-plz help !!!!

im 3 days overdue , was havin contractions yday 10 mins part 2day nufin is this normal.... should i ring my midwife or the hospital ??

  • I say ring the midwife because it is better to be safe than sorry. I think it will ease your mind as well. They are there for you!

  • i would say that if you are concerned give them a call, but if you arent having contractions anymore then i dont know what they are going to tell ya! good luck i hope you have that lil one soon!

  • That is what they want you to do....ask your question, and get your answer! At least they will know what is happening with you and you will feel better knowing they know!

  • If you are no longer having contractions then it is normal~ your body was practicing. You are not it labor --yet.

    The due date is a MID-point in the average due period (38-42 weeks). Based on the average, you are likely to have your baby within that time frame. Don't worry if you are still within that period, it is normal!
    If it is your first baby, the average is 8 days longer than the 40-week average.

    Usually, pregnant mamas will work out The Plan (for labor) in prenatal appointments-- what has your midwife worked out with you?
