I know someone that was abused in almost every way imaginable and he is a genius. I don't think this theory holds water, although it could be argued that those that depend solely on spanking as discipline have lower IQs. ;oP

Eye roll, this is why I don't understand why so many people believe everything they read in studies. It's fruity.

Not true. My niece got spanked. She had a 4 year scholarship to Vassar and is right now a doctorial fellow at Duke. She learned to behave by being spanked which can be directly correlated to a higher IQ.
