I breastfeed my baby most of the time, and I would like to know if it's ok to eat while I'm breastfeeding the baby.

  • I did. If they are eating when I am eating I do.

  • I didn't breastfeed but I don't see why it would be a problem. You do have to eat to make good milk!

  • Of course!! :-) For the first 4 months, that's how we ate all of our meals-- DH and I were eating while I was nursing the baby.

  • Sure, why wouldn't it be? Obviously, don't eat things that are very very hot, so you don't risk burning the baby.

  • Heck ya. I think that was only I ate with my first in those first few months. Don't forget a big glass of fluids too.

  • Sure it is. Just remember to brush off the crumbs and wipe the sauce of the baby's head. :)
