Since salvia is legal..

can you get your child taken away for smoking it? this is kind of a "spin off" question from one i read earlier. someone was asking if you can get your kid taken away for being an alcoholic, and someone said "no drinking is legal".

  • well of course. if you neglect your child doing anything you risk losing your child be it drugs, alcohol, internet. doesnt matter.

  • Salia is illegal in many states now. so the answer is YES if you live in one of those states

  • OP here - okay, well assuming you live in a state where it's still legal. i find it hard to believe that just because something is legal, doing something TOO much with a child in the house can't get you into trouble.

  • your not supposed to be under the influence of anything while taking care of children. even alcohol. if you abuse it, while taking care of children, your kids can get taken away.

  • Speaking from someone who has tried it it is horrible and won't be legal for long. I can't imagine someone trying to drive while on it. I think a drunk driver would be safer.
