what does invalid result mean on a pregnancy test??

  • It means the test did not work correctly. It could be due to user error or it could be a faulty test. You need to take another test.

  • it means somehow you managed to pee on the stick incorrectly. Get another test. And might I recommend not bothering with the digital ones LOL what a rip off! you can easily read 2 lines or 1 line, why bother getting digital.

  • this is the second time i got a invalid result and i already missed 1 month of my period. so today im going to buy the first response test that says yes or no on the test.

  • Either the test expired, was faulty, or you got too much or not enough urine on it. There is no way to determine a positive or negative from an invalid test. You will have to get another HPT. I would advise getting a different brand than the one you just tried.

  • If you're going to get a digital, I recommend EPT. I've always gotten super accurate results very early from Walmart's Equate HPT. What ever you do, don't waste money on Answer. I've been pregnant 3 times and tried 7 different types of HPT and the Answer one is the only brand I had trouble with getting a clear result.
