a little concerned!

a friend of mine has 2 children age 7and 10..during the day the kids never go out of the house ever....nobody ever goes into the house(ive never been in her house...)about 3;00 they pack up and out the door they go until about 10; dd says the kids are really tired at school. at first i thought she was working but thats not the case.she doesnt even let her kids play with mine and im her friend?i cant ask her for fear shes going to fly off the handle.i know i cant imagine what her thoughts are.but i am getting worried.she seems of getting to the point of paranoid.any thoughts?

  • You should talk to her about it from the point of a concerned friend, something could be wrong with her and her kids are suffering because of it, sometimes as friends we have to do things that are hard and might end friendships but if it saves our friends and their families so be it.

  • Invite her and her kids to do something with you during the day. If she comes and everything seems normal than maybe you misinterpretted what was going on. If she acts nervous you might need to probe a little further. If you are close just ask her if something is going on.

  • Maybe she has an ex stalking her or something, you never know..Maybe she works 2 nd shift and is taking the kids to a babysitter..Maybe her kids have allergies and can't play outside a lot..Don't jump to your own conclusions..

  • OP they go to school but thats about all they do?she is married so she doesnt have an ex.her dh knows she does this and says he gets very mad at she doesnt have a job...the only time when the kids go out is when the dh takes them out...
