my shih tzu has one eye bigger then the other

is this normal like humans arent perfect (my nose curves just slightly) or this from bad breeding? i wouldn't wat to get another puppy from them if this is the case.

  • you might want it to get checked. if it is a lazy eye... in humans it can cause blindness in the lazy eye.... i dont know if it is normal for dogs to get it, when you have a purebred with a problem most people look to the breeders.

  • Shih Tzus can have serious eye problems. It's not "bad" breeding. It's the breed itself. They can get injured very easily. My friend's shih tzu had to have all of her eyelashes removed and 2 eye surgeries because of eye injury.

Get her to the vet and have her checked if you have any concerns about her vision, a possible injury, or ingrown hairs around her face. If she is not visual focused, bumps into things, or can't find her toys then she may have a problem. The eye could be larger bc of swelling.
