Cows causing global warming?

I was just doing a bit of reading, and came across something that made me laugh. There have been A LOT of posts about global warming lately, so I thought I'd add this little paragraph:

Kangaroos can’t fart. They convert the small quantity of methane they produce into an energy source which their body reuses. Scientists hope that they will be able to transfer the bacteria that causes this in kangaroos to cows, to reduce methane emissions to save the world from the latest fashionable catastrophe: global warming.

Funny, no?

  • And science just started work on bringing back the aurochs (giant 12 foot tall prehistoric cattle). Think of the ozone hole those puppies will make!

  • Well then, it's a good thing we killed off most of the buffalo! And that the wooly mammoths went extinct! Just think if they were still around, how much farting they would do, and how much DAMAGE to the PLANET!!!!! It's just UNTHINKABLE!!!

  • Wooly mammoths were huge. I don't think we could still co-exist with them.
