What do Doctors do with expired vaccines?

  • They should rotate them so they never have any expired. If they do then they have to dispose of them like other medical waste. They can't be used. If it was an office it would probably be put in the red containers doctors put used syringes in.

    I do home IV therapy and when I have meds that expire like epipens that is what I am supposed to do.

  • they are supposed to put them into coffee grinds and throw them away... my sister in a lvn and thats what she said

  • They go into bio-hazard waste. I work in a community health center and it's they way the law sayss they should be disposed of.
