How can i find out my full account numbers?

DH and i are finally filing Ch. 7.. its long over due and we have debt that we havent paid on in 4+ years because we cant scrape together enough money to pay them. How can I find out our credit card account numbers without calling the companies and dealing with the harassment about paying the bills? I printed out our credit reports but that doesnt show the last 4 numbers.

  • Where are your bills? You had to have been receiving them monthly either online or in the U S mail?

sometimes an online account can be set up in a creditor's company by using your s s # and other identifying information date of birth, address or that of your spouse.

it's confusing why you don't have any bill paper or on line electronic bill to refer to.

If you have a paper bill even from a long time ago you can set up an electronic account to view online.

What about going to a reputable credit counseling agency through a family services organization -try asking for one by calling your county's United Way or your county's consumer protection division.

  • we havent recieved any statements from them in quite a while. Probably because we moved and i didnt want them to know our current address. We currently are going through credit counseling and have a lawyer working on our case.

  • My credit card statements don't show the full account number, so even if you had those you might not have what you need. Do you have the actual credit cards? Those would have the full number.

  • Get a copy of your credit report from
The amounts owed, plus the contact information should all be on there.

I would also check out or the Dave Ramsey group on cafemom for some more helpful tips.
