if your illegal but your kids are born in the us can you still get back some money?? but the parents dont have a social security number???

  • No. Even though the kids are legal citizens, you (as the illegal immigrant) cannot get money back from the government. You will need be be legalized in the US in order to recieve US benefits. Especially tax benefits. Whether it's you, or someone you know, you NEED to become legal if you're going to continue to live in this country.

  • Anon :53 here....It just dawned on me that illegal = no tax id and no social security. No. You can't get money back if you have not paid in....and how would you pay it in if you have no numbers? If you had a number, you would not be illegal would you?

  • no happy mom. i had 2 kids in the us and i was illegal. i became legal when my son was 6 mts. he was my second child now if the child is over 18 he can request his parents.
