9 months to young for umbrella stroller?

Is 9 months to young for a cheap non-reclining umbrella stroller? We will be doing a lot of walking and need to be able to fit the stroller in a very packed car. Is this to young for this type of stroller? It has a canopy so sun wont be an issue.

  • I think they are fine from around 6 months and able to sit unassisted.

  • As long as the child can sit unassisted, I don't think that it'd be a problem. However, it won't be very confortable for him/her to sleep in if you're still out during nap time.

  • 9 months is fine, just support head with a blanket.

  • 9 is fine. my kids started in an umbrella stroller at 4 months. although i bought one that had a hard back on it, not one of those that's just fabric holding them. and it had a little basket at the bottom. it was better than a "normal" umbrella stroller, at the same price
