Teen activities for school holidays that don't cost the earth

Hi all
Wondering if anyone has some good ideas for the school holidays for a couple of tweens, one is 13yr old girl and 14yr old boy. Both have eclectic tastes, hate having to spend time together and argue like cats and dogs. I no longer work so thought it would be a good idea to organise some stuff early for the next schoo holidays. Heres a couple of ideas ive already come up with

- Movie marathon - spending all day and night watch movies or series on dvd. I thought we could bring our matresses into the lounge and have takeaways at night.
- Take a train or bus out to somewhere weve never been and spend the day like sightseers
- Invite a few of their friends over (on seperate nites of course) and let them camp outside for the night
- Do a "school hoidays" dream board together so and list the things we want to do each hoidays. It will mean we are prepared year round.

Anyone got anything they do with their teens?

One of my kids loves photography, so we go places where he can take great nature photographs that we print and hang in a frame.
Video game contests with the winner getting their choice (with in reason) for dinner.
Be a tourist in your own town.
Figure out if they have a hobby they'd like to persue like art, that you can help with.
