  • I know that the benefits of bf while smoking have been proven. But smoking is still nasty, and my mom smoked, too. If I could change one thing, it would be that my mom is a chain smoker and has been since before we were born.

  • Mum b-f me til I was six weeks, then gave in to baby boomer pressure and weaned. She is a great Mum and did her very best so, I think she did a fantastic job. If you are an adult, you should recognise that your Mum was entitled to her choices, just like you don't expect her to tell you how to raise your kids.
