should i be waking him???

okay about 3:30, 4 o'clock my lil guy was trying to climb the ladder to the top bunk of the bed and fell and hit his head on a little boke toy in the room. he cried, no bleeding, nothing weird about his behavoir. i just found the bump. it's on the right side where the top of the neck and the bottom of the head meet. i push on it and he doesn't push my hand away or cry so it doesn't hurt. it's not bruised, no cuts, i'm sure i'm just still nervous. it's now 6:15 and he goes to bed in 45 minutes, at 7pm, and everything seems fine with him. after the fall he was playing, eyes look fine, he can focus, he acts exactly like himself, so i feel okay that he can go to sleep at 7, that is 3-3.5 hours after the fall and i read to keep them awake 1-2 hours. should i be waking him throughout the night to make sure that he is okay, or should i not worry since he has been awake so long and is acting fine?

  • I think that if he goes to bed at 7 and he felll 3.5 hours ago thats hes probably fine. Only you know how hard he hit though, if you feel uneasy about anything its better to be safe then sorry. GL!
