Um...what?! The placenta doesn't move, it attatches to the uterine wall and stays there til after the baby's born (unless there's an abruption or something).

If the placenta is pressing on the cervix, this is not good. Please call the doc asap. This can be a big problem. It is supposed to be above the baby. I had the placenta riding low, but It moved upward around 20 or so weeks. If you are farther along then this is a threat. Are you sure it was not just a foot?. My son was breach & I felt like his foot was gonna fall out into my gina. BUt it never actually happenned.
