Playing at night

my dd wakes up and is all smiles i cant help but smile back and start playing with her she is just so happy i am just worried that she wouldn't sleep through the night if i keep playing.is this something i should be worried about or will it fix its self (please be nice)

  • yes it will teach you its ok to play at night. you can smile and sing to her while you put her back to sleep but keep the lights off!

  • My baby girl does this when she wakes up at night, too!! It's so hard not to smile back at her. I just keep the lights off & lay in bed with her until she goes back to sleep, which is usually in 30 minutes or so. Aside from her waking up that once to eat & get changed, she sleeps all through the night.
