  • Yes it actually gives you good vitamins for BFing, but make sure to use some kind of coverage for your nipples you don't want to burn them because it will make feeding painful.

  • I don't see why not... it's like getting sun naturally. You're not getting radiation or anything. You should, however, avoid the "tanning lotions"... those can sometimes affect baby.

  • No stacie that is a common mistake people say that working out can make milk hot as well, just remember that Bfing mothers live in hot climates and have no problems. The major concern is burning because it will make it hard to feed.

  • It won't interfere with nursing in any way, but if you use a spray tan, just make sure not to get it on the nipples.

  • Not a problem with breastfeeding, but it does cause cancer. I regret the tanning I did in my 20s. I'm now 42 and have lost track of how many times I have had skin cancer removed. This last time I needed a skin graft.

  • I didn't mean it that way what I meant is a lot of people like to say may things can be bad for the milk. Heat won't have to affect milk unless it is extreme.
