any tips on how to deal with Braxton Hicks?

I am 8 months pregnant with my third baby, I have twins, and I had a miscarriage of twins before having my twins.
this isnt about the miscarriage, if you want to know the story, you can read my journal.
neither of my previous pregnancies involved any Braxton Hicks..
what should I do
or any home remedies that would help?

  • It helped me to massage where it was tightening up. That's really the only thing I can think of. Good luck! It's almost over.

  • practice breathing exercises, this will not only get you ready, but it will also relax you. Have you been drinking water lately, sometimes Braxton Hicks are an onset of dehydration, and can get worse if you are not drinking water. If a full glass of water and throwing your feet up on a pillow doesn't help, try a nap.:) Good luck

  • Sleep and water helped mine a lot. Dehydration can be a primary cause so hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I also found a White Tea from Teavana (Silver Needle) to help a lot...mostly because it helps hydrate I think.
