Booster seat question

Is it safer to lock the shoulder belt or leave it loose?

  • I leave it loose so they can move around. It will lock when the car slams on the breaks. I know mine does and it hurt like heck because I wasn't expecting it, lol. My daughter wasn't either (she's 9) and yelped. Then she's like, "the seatbelts work."

  • Leave it loose. it's much more comfortable for him (think itchy spot on their back). It's easier for them to adjust a bit and as justantotherjen said, they are designed to lock on impact anyway.
