How many books does your toddler have?

My son is 23 months and he has around 170 books. I always love buying new ones because we read about three or four a day and I get bored with the same ones.

  • He has about 30 books. But he is just starting to want to look at books. We will buy more as he gets older.

  • We probably have over 20 or so. Not as much as you though. I say they will last a very long time. We read them now and when he gets older he will like to read them himself. Plus we will keep then for the next baby. So I say the more books the better!

  • I couldn't even begin to count them! We have a huge laundry basket full and I've never thought of counting, but he loves them. We have some that are brand new and then tons from older cousins that are "new" to him

  • my MIL gets tons of them free b/c she's a preschool teacher so its truly more than I know. I refuse to let more in the house right now. I'll add a new one every blue moon, but kids love consistancy and repetition so we have about 7 staples.

  • I don't know how much they have between the two of them. They get a few every few months. They love being read to.

Plus she also has books in the livingroom on shelves and by her chair.(About 150-220) I have kept all of her baby/toddler board books(a whole big tote full(about 100)), plus i have a tote full of books for when she gets a little older(about 75-100).
