  • Does this surprise you? Obama, SCIU, unions all in bed together. Obama, Chavez, Castro all one in the same, all socialist.

  • You have GOT to be kidding me??? So if daycare providers are "public employees" of Michigan, where are there union benefits/????? I am not a provider, but know many people who are. My sister has multiple sclerosis and has to pay for her own medical proceedures and sometimes has to wait for certain care because she can't afford it. Where is the "union" fighting for HER rights and benefits? You hear of the union striking against the auto companies over wages and benefits and insurance increases. Who advocates for all of these "public employees"? Any time the government can think of a way to screw the public, you can be assured they will do it.

  • I felt bad for the daycare workers I saw in TV they make less after dues and are no better off. I think we could see more of this in the future.

  • That happened in Illinois also. SEIU will continue to do everything they can to gain power. Thats what they are doing. They aren't trying to help people they are trying to grab power just as our government is doing. You need to pay attention when you hear about these things. SEIU is just as crooked as Acorn.

  • If there public employees then they should have W2. They need to get a lawyer because they are at most subcontractors not employees.
