having a hard time with the baby weight

i had my baby 4 months ago and i can not seem to get this weight off, i have tried it all, has anyone else had this problem and asked their doctors? what did the doctor say?

  • If you're breastfeeding the last 10-12 lbs might stick around until you're done. Natures way of slowing you down I guess :) With both of my kids I didn't get back to my pre-pregnancy until they were around 7 months old.

  • i agree with mommy2gabrielle.
    you could cut processed foods and sugar.
    you could add more veggies.
    be sure to drink 2-3 liters of water..3 if working out, 2 if not.
    i always found that getting outside a bit was helpful, not sure why...sunshine fresh air, but i know it is winter!
    it usually takes me 7-12 months, but my body is never what it was before my first child!

  • It's been almost 4 years...I'm huge!
    Even eating right and exercizing....trying to be better at it but it gets frustrating at times.
    I do have a couple hormonal and such issues so part of my body is working against taking and keeping off any weight i've been able to lose, though that's kinda an excuse.
