Need opinion on diet suppliment

I know nothing is better than a good diet and excercise. So plz only post if you're going to be helpful.
I'm looking to to loose about 60 pounds and want to do it within the next 3 months. I've checked in to ReDenze, Metabo Ultra, Lipovo?, and a couple of others. But they all seem to say the same things. Is one better than another or can you suggest one that has worked for you. Thanks

  • mega-t green tea pills worked for me. they also make a gum which works good. you can get these at gnc & a few other places.

  • None of them work (except addictive amphetamines). Not 60 pounds worth. All the clinical research to date has shown a statistically-insignificant improvement in weight loss that is not sustained over time.

    So, they might work short term, for under 5 pounds --but losing 60 pounds in 3 months is dangerous and unrealistic and unsustainable. What needs to happen is a direct reversal of how you gained. If you gained by gradually increasing the amount you ate, decrease the amount you eat. If it was through an inactive lifestyle, become more active.

    If you lose 60 pounds in 3 months you can expect to: gain 80 pounds over the next two years (seen Kirsty Allie lately?), lose your gall bladder in the next 10 years, lose the ability to maintain your weight even eating less than you do now, and lose stamina, strength, flexibility, and energy... leaving you in an ideal position to gain even more weight which is harder and harder to lose.

  • Sorry, it's not the answer you want...but diet supplements only whittle wallets, not waistlines. (DH has been through ALL of them.)

    60 pounds in three months isn't realistic unless you're planning on surgery to carve off 60 pounds of flesh. If you need to lose a certain amount for a medical procedure, your surgeon will help you with a plan for it. But if it's just for aesthetics...sorry. Eat right, exercise and what you lose in three months is what you lose. Trust will make you far less crazy!

  • There are no magic bullets.

    Diets and diet aids (if they even work) are temporary fixes. Unless you learn how to eat healthy for life, you will not be able to maintain a healthy weight and will stay on the gain/lose roller coaster - frustrating for you and hard on your body. Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water every day. Eat 5-6 servings of whole grains (brown rice, whole grain bread, etc.) every day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat at least 2 servings of legumes every day. You will lose weight. You will have more energy. You will maintain a healthy weight. You will get sick less often. You will be setting a wonderful example for your children. You can get free meal plans and recipes from Dr. McDougall, or find his books at your local library:
    Eat an apple or a big pile of vegetables before meals
