  • Yes the test it trustworthy, they are designed now to not give false positives. The stabbing feeling is just your uterus preparing itself for the long haul. Without knowing when your last period was I can't say how far along you may be. Congrats and good luck.

  • Yes you can trust the HPT. They are more likely to give false negatives then false positives.
I can't help you with the stomach feeling though.
    Congrats and good luck!

  • yes, it is almost impossible to get a false negative.

eeryone feels different things at different times. it might be ligament pain.

your doctor will give you the info you need. good luck!

  • Congrats! I think I took 3 pregnancy tests - and the doc said they're accurate, no need to take more than one :-). I didn't feel kicks (which feel like "fluttering" or gas at first) until around 16 weeks, however, you'll probably feel ligaments stretching before then! Best wishes for a comfortable & healthy pregnancy!

  • Thanks all for your advice I am so worry about how the doctor is going to know how many months I am because since a gave birth two years ago my period had only come 5 times I am very irregular my last period was on december but I dont think I am pregnant since then ... Hopefully I will get through this soon....

  • The doctor will schedule you for an early ultrasound if you are irregular, that won't be until 8 weeks usually, but they might do it now ti give a good date of the pregnancy.
