Eat healthy--watch your calories, fat, and sodium. Make sure you're eating mostly fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean sources of protein.
And exercise--do whatever you can, even if you're out of shape to start. When I first started on my weight loss journey, I could barely work out for 10 minutes, I was so out of breath. I just kept at it, never giving up and pushing myself a little further each week. Now I can go for over an hour, no problems. I do Turbo Jam (excellent cardio and toning), jogging, and light weight lifting. I have lost all of my extra weight and feel GREAT.
Those really are the two keys to a healthy body weight. There's no magic diet or pill that will work long-term.
