50th Wedding Anniversary

My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in April. My sisters and I do not have the money to feed all who are going to show up to this party. They are well known in our community.

Would/Is it proper etiquette to ask my parents' church to help with food? I do not know the dos and don'ts of these things. Thanks for all your help.
