issues with a co-worker...

a few months ago, my co-worker started having alot of personal problems, a bad break-up to be specific. so i invited her out 1 night with myself, SO, and a large group of friends. the next day my SO told me that she kept telling him she needed to be f*cked and maybe i shouldnt hang out with her bc he felt like she was trying to come onto him. i ignored SO and continued to talk to her at work, on the phone, and give her rides when her car broke. now about 2 weeks ago, she got very mad when we picked up my SO and she had to sit in the back seat of the car (that part is just silly, she is almost 40 years old and to get mad about that just seems very juvenile to me, but anyway.) ever since that day, she has bad mouthed me and SO at work. she has told my co-workers that my SO tried to sleep with her and that he is an asshole. but oddly enough, never told me about him trying???

  • CONT FROM ABOVE: so now she is trying to take my hours. i just dont get it. would you say she is jealous? or just a bitch? should i confront her or be the bigger person and let her play her own game? should i quit? i dont question the faithfulness of my SO, just in case you are wondering, and i have no suspicions that anything happened between them. my issues consist of how someone can treat me like this when i went out of my way to be nice to them and how to deal with it from here.

  • Talk with the owner then and tell them what you just told us and that you are not trying to start anything or get anything from her. You simply want the harassment to stop. If it continues then I would consider quitting, but in this economy finding another job may not be that easy.
